A 2 year old child presents with persistent daytime and night time cough. His weight is on the 10th centime and height on the 25th centile. He was on the 90th centile for weight at birth and on the 50th centile for weight at one year of age. On examination of his chest there is generalized wheeze and coarse crepitus .
