A woman with chronic back pain and constipation. Blood test show high ESR, high calcium and low normal hemoglobin. What would be the next step in her management?


1.serum electropheresis,
2. Ultrasound abdomen,
3.Liver function tests
4.x-ray

The patient is presented with hypercalcmmia+ constipation+ high ESR+ chronic anameia====> the first related diagnosis is methastatic problem from different organs so the best and usuall involved organs should be worked up.Thus,it seems to me abdominal X ray would be more appropriat answer.
